Art and Book Bazaar!
Announcing the first annual Musings Art and Book Bazaar! In order to raise money for Musings, we are hosting a student art and pre-owned book sale on April 8th.
As you know, our school's literary magazine is supported entirely by your generous donations. As in the past, we will still ask for support from River Oaks parents and area businesses in the form of sponsorships; however, by adding the book sale, we hope to produce an even better edition of Musings this year.
Our new Art Department has been busy this year, and I would like to showcase the students' hard work in this year's edition. Simply put, color printing costs more than black & white.
So, please, rummage through your shelves and closets for spare books. Any and all books are welcome...from children's literature to classics. We are accepting donations NOW at the school. I will have a box by the front desk, as well as in my classroom.
