Fourteenth Edition

The 14th edition of MUSINGS is now available for purchase. This year's edition features a full color spread from the art department, including cover artwork from Jamie Cummins:

Art and Book Bazaar!

Announcing the first annual Musings Art and Book Bazaar! In order to raise money for Musings, we are hosting a student art and pre-owned book sale on April 8th.

As you know, our school's literary magazine is supported entirely by your generous donations. As in the past, we will still ask for support from River Oaks parents and area businesses in the form of sponsorships; however, by adding the book sale, we hope to produce an even better edition of Musings this year.

Our new Art Department has been busy this year, and I would like to showcase the students' hard work in this year's edition. Simply put, color printing costs more than black & white.

So, please, rummage through your shelves and closets for spare books. Any and all books are welcome...from children's literature to classics. We are accepting donations NOW at the school. I will have a box by the front desk, as well as in my classroom.

The latest edition of Musings is in!



Copies are available for $4.00 ($5.00 including the 2003-2004 edition).

Musings is produced annually to showcase creative writing and visual arts by River Oaks students. If you would like to be involved in this year's edition, please contact me via email or see me in class.

Sponsorship

Musings is River Oaks' journal for literature and the Arts. Published annually, the magazine features writing and artwork from our high school students. Funding for Musings depends upon the generous support of sponsors. To become a Musings sponsor, please contact me (aryland@earthlink.net) for a sponsorship form or simply send a check to the front office.

If you donate at one of the following levels, your family and/or business will be listed on the sponsor page at the beginning of this year's edition:

The Musings staff is still accepting submissions. Bring all artwork and creative writing by Mr. Ryland's room anytime! The new edition will hopefully be available by graduation.
